AIA Triangle Tour of Residential Architecture 2011
We are honored to have been selected for the second year in a row as an AIA Triangle Homes Tour featured architect. The Davis Residence was selected for the 2011 tour, which will be held on Saturday, October 1st.
We will be taking part in two panel discussions for the tour:

Georgia Bizios has just been awarded the 2010 Green Designer of the Year by the NC Triangle chapter of the US Green Building Council.
The award was presented to Georgia “for serving as an exemplary role model in pioneering, sharing, and practicing sustainable principles that are saving the planet forward for the next generation.”

Bizios Architect was a featured architect for the 2010 AIA Triangle Homes Tour. The Rugby Road Addition/Renovation was featured among 10 homes on the tour October 2, 2010. Georgia wrote an article for the Raleigh News and Observer, titled "Renovate. Save Energy. Live Better." The article, which was co-authored by Katie Wakeford of the NCSU Home Environments Design Initiative, outlines strategies for healthy and energy efficient home renovations.
