In an extensive article, one of Bizios' most recent designs is highlighted for its contemporary approach to cottage living. “Old world charm, work-at-home spaces, and low energy costs make this supersize cottage beautifully livable for today,” writes Sharon Novotne. The article explains, “Designing the house from inside out gave [the clients] the get-together places and the private, creative zones each needed without leaving them isolated from family life.” The author notes that the kitchen and living room were merged for easy entertaining and careful attention was given to the home's energy efficiency. Plenty of built-in storage and exquisite wood detailing are added bonuses. The result is a charming home designed for contemporary living.
